Our   ‘Steps to Success’ programme can provide you with personalised support, to help you address a range of issues that might be impacting upon your quality of life, break down life barriers and achieve your full potential.

We can help you build up your confidence and identify your goals, so you can achieve these with free learning and employment opportunities. Depending on your needs, we can provide you with access to work opportunities, apprenticeships, free training, mentoring, motivational courses and volunteering. This step by step programme is as unique as you, providing support at a level that suits your needs and aspirations with no time limit. As long as you are willing to give it a go and are committed to the programme then we can help

I’m Business Manager for Neighbourhoods and have overall responsibility for the Steps to Success programme. I’m very proud of the programme and the hard work that the team put in to help tenants reach their full potential. I’m a Community Development Worker in the North Manor and Radcliffe areas. I offer support to people trying to get back in to work or trying to advance themselves. We offer Positive Steps training which is a new self analysis and self confidence course that helps people hone their employability skills, preparing them for work or further training.

I’m the Business Manager for Repairs Direct. I have been able to offer a number of trade apprenticeships in Six Town Housing, all of which have been offered to local residents through Steps to Success. As well as trades, I’ve offered other opportunities such as Admin staff, receptionists, contact centre and labourers.
